At more and more junctions in larger cities, there is an area reserved for you before the red light (bike bag). Ideally, the bike bag is combined with a bicycle traffic light. As soon as the bike traffic light turns green, you can set off. The vehicles get green 5 seconds later. This reduces the risk of being overlooked and allows you to cross the junction more safely.
